A splendid variant for the actually rather boring pumpkin, which does not get along without spices. The pumpkin should still have a small bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 Butter Pumpkin
  • Marinade: 7 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • Sea Salt
  • Chilli flakes
  • 4 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • Marjoram or Thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Peel and seed a butter pumpkin and cut into long strips and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  2. Marinade: Mix together olive oil, a finely chopped red onion and garlic clove. Spice with sea salt, chilli flakes and  cinnamon.
  3. Spread this marinade well on every single pumpkin cut.
  4. Snow coarsely picked marjoram or thyme leaves over it.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 220g circulation air.
