Memories of Marrakech
Ingredients
- • 1 kilo carrots
- • 1 liter saltwater
- • 2 lemons
- • 5 tsp olive oil
- • Half bunch of parsley
- • Handful of white sesam
- • Cayenne pepper
- • Salt
- • Cumin
Instructions

- 1 peel the carrots and cut into approx. 5 mm slices (wohl eher 0.5 cm resp. 5 mm oder?)
- 2 Cook in salted water for 18-20 minutes until they are just done
- 3 Drain the water and let them cool to lukewarm temperature
- 4 Pour the juice of 2 lemons and 5 tsp of olive oil over it.
- 5 Add a half bunch of parsley roughly chopped
- 6 Season with salt, cayenne pepper and sprinkle with white sesame seeds and mix well.
- Serve lukewarm.
